Racing has returned to Ruidoso Downs Race Track and Casino, and with fans!
The Southern New Mexico race track returns to action with a full slate of races Friday through Monday, and the fans will be back taking in the action and also getting in on the action betting.
Keep up with the weekend’s racing festivities all weekend as the El Paso Times’ Felix Chavez, Las Cruces Sun-News’ Nathan Fish and Carlsbad Current-Argus’ Matthew Asher will be covering all the action.
The first day of the Ruidoso Futurity trials begins shortly. It is for two-year-old quarter horses There are 16 trials today and the top five qualify for the finals. Tomorrow there are 16 more trials and on Sunday it is trial day for the three-year-olds.
