ENCINITAS, CA – The San Diego Registrar of Voters is reminding voters they can vote early.
More than 1.9 million ballots for the June 7 primary were mailed to registered voters last week, according to the Electoral Roll Office. When the ballots arrive in the mailboxes, voters can vote early by mailing the completed ballots in the mail or dropping them off at ballot box drop box locations throughout San Diego County.
“You don’t have to wait until Election Day to vote,” Voter Registry Cynthia Paes said. “And the sooner we get your ballot back, the sooner we can start processing it. Your ballot may be included in the first release of election night results.”

Official ballot packs include instructions and an “I Voted” sticker. To vote by mail, voters must mark the ballot, place the ballot in the official return envelope, seal the envelope, and sign and date the envelope.
Ballots may be mailed to a US Postal Service office or to a collection box. Voters who return their ballot in the mail can track it by logging in to Where’s My Ballot?
