Local Heroes: Help Identify People Who Make Life Better at Encinitas

ENCINITAS, CA — Heroes aren’t just the local people behind this majestic movement and life-saving act. They were also people from all walks of life who made life better in Encinitas just by showing up.

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to recognize these local heroes and celebrate contributions big and small.

They are veterans and people currently in the military. They are teachers and nurses and first responders. They are people you know and complete strangers you don’t know. They are mentors to our children, and children who realize early on that community works best when people help each other.

Shouting Local Heroes is simple. Just fill out a simple form here — photos are appreciated — and we’ll do the rest with stories on Patch, so the whole neighborhood can celebrate what makes them special.
