You can set your clock back one hour starting Sunday, November 6 at 2:00 AM, instead of 1:00 AM.

While cell phones, computers, and televisions will automatically roll back, you’ll still have to manually replace all wall clocks, alarm clocks, coffee pot clocks, microwaves, and ovens.

But while it does mean a day of sleeping without feeling guilty, it also comes with a price: earlier sunsets during the dark winter months.

California is one of 48 states – with the exception of Arizona and Hawaii – that observe daylight saving time.

Pulling back is a better end to the contract, at least for parents who may find it easier to rest if they give their children an extra hour before bedtime, expert parents suggest.
