Ballots Sent to Encinitas Registered Voters for the November 8 Election

ENCINITAS, CA – Ballots have been mailed to registered voters in Encinitas and across San Diego County for the November 8 General Election, the San Diego Registrar of Voters announced.

Postal ballots were sent to 1.9 million registered voters in the county, according to the Registrar of Voters. Voters can expect to receive their ballots this week, but some may have received them as early as Saturday, October 8.

Ballots can be returned by post or sent to any Registrar of Electors location by Election Day, including locations at the Cardiff-by- the-Sea, Encinitas Branch Library and Encinitas Chamber of Commerce.

No mailing is required, but voters must sign and date the ballot envelope. Voters who return their ballots through the US Postal Service can track them by signing up for the “Where’s My Ballot?”

Beginning this week, voters can also vote at the Registrar of Voters Office in Kearny Mesa. The office is open from 8 am to 5 pm. Monday through Friday.

Starting Saturday, October 29, 39 polling stations will be open from 8 am to 5 pm. every day. Starting on Saturday, November 5, more than 200 polling stations will be open from 8 am to 5 pm. every day. All polling centers are open from 7 am to 8 pm. on Election Day, Nov. 8.
