ENCINITAS, CA – Have you ever imagined yourself serving in the Arts Commission? Or the planning commission? There is no better time than the present.
The city of Encinitas is accepting applications for city commission appointments that expire in 2023, the council said in a recent notice.
Commission nominations are open for the Arts Commission, the Environment Commission, the Mobility and Highway Safety Commission, the Parks and Recreation Commission, the Planning Commission and the Seniors Commission.

Application forms must be completed online from the City’s website.

To apply, you must be a registered voter in the city of Encinitas. The candidates will be selected by the members of the municipal council. All committees currently accepting nominations will have term limits of two consecutive appointments. Candidates can serve on only one committee at a time, and any committee member must attend meetings or be removed from office after three consecutive absences.
