Carlsbad – Francisco “Panchito” Jimenez, 38, of N. 9th Street, passed away July 5, 2021 at his home. Visitation will be 3 PM – 7 PM, Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM, Monday, July 12, 2021 at IAFCJ Elevate, 3212 Lea Street, with Minister David Jimenez officiating. Graveside services will take place at 2:00 PM in Prairie Haven Cemetery, Hobbs, NM.
Francisco “Panchito” Jimenez was born March 3, 1983 in Pecos, Texas to Francisco and Lisa (Woodard) Jimenez, II. He attended NMSU-Carlsbad where he excelled in carpentry courses. Francisco worked for Intrepid Potash and later began work for the oil field. He worked as a mechanic and heavy equipment operator for several years, most recently for Capitan Energy which he took great pride in. Panchito was a generous and humble person, always willing to help anyone and everyone. And most importantly, he was a loving father. Panchito was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Jimenez, II and grandparents.
Survivors are his son, Frankie Jude Jimenez; daughter, Sasha Maria Jimenez; mother to his children, Trish; mother, Lisa Jimenez; brothers: Russell Jimenez, Luis Jimenez and Jose Jimenez, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Hernandez, Robby Galvan, Luis Jimenez, Carlos Jimenez, Ricardo Jimenez, Jr., Manuel Valerio, Jr., Arturo Caleb Salinas, and Abel Christian Salinas. Honorary pallbearers are Rick Hernandez and Saul Lira, Jr. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com
