How many people are vaccinated?

Some 30% of people living in Eddy County are fully vaccinated as of July 6, according to data from the New Mexico Department of Health.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention considers someone fully vaccinated two weeks after they’ve been given a single-dose shot (Johnson & Johnson) or a second shot (either Pfizer or Moderna).

New Mexico reported 205,915 total cases of coronavirus, an increase of 0.21% from the week before.

The five counties with the highest percentage of their population fully vaccinated in New Mexico as of July 6 are Los Alamos County (70%), Santa Fe County (62%), Taos County (61%), McKinley County (60%) and Harding County (58%).

Here are the latest numbers on COVID-19 vaccinations in Eddy County as of July 6:

  • 35% of people in Eddy County have received at least one dose of the vaccine, for a total of 20,065 people
  • 30% of people in Eddy County are fully vaccinated, for a total of 17,341 people
