The Downtown Carlsbad Farmers and Makers Market opened its season May 20.
The event is scheduled for every Thursday until Oct. 21, 2021. It kicks off at 5:30 p.m.
It is sponsored by Nuclear Waste Partnership and Mosaic.

Every third Thursday, Pearl of the Pecos and MainStreet will also host live entertainment. The event is free and open to the public.
To kick off the celebration Carlsbad MainStreet gifted the gazebo constructed on the Eddy County Courthouse to Eddy County.
Carlsbad MainStreet director Ashly Key presented Eddy County Manager Allen Davis with a certificate as part of the transition.
Down the block Century 21 Dunagan Associates celebrated its grand re-opening May 20. Dunagan Associates is located at 212 W. Stevens St.
Zia Bike and Board Shop also held a grand opening and ribbon cutting. The bike shop is one of the newest businesses locate in the heart of Carlsbad local shopping district.
