SAN DIEGO — Authorities are investigating a sea bluff collapse at Black’s Beach in the Torrey Pines area of north San Diego, according to the fire department.
With arguably some of San Diego’s best waves and loved by surfers, Black’s Beach, at the southern end of Torrey Pines State Beach and north of La Jolla Shores, is known by many as San Diego’s nude beach.
There are no reports of injuries due to the collapse which occurred at around 2.45pm on Friday 20. January, according to the San Diego Fire Department.

“The La Jolla trail, which is above Black’s Beach, is closed,” SDFD said in a Twitter post asking residents and visitors to avoid the area.
